Our faculty is comprised of well-known media people, who are respected in both academic community and media world. The members of the faculty are in touch with the changes taking place in the media world, and inculcate in students media study that is modern and relevant. They are a dynamic, interactive group of knowledge leaders made up of foremost authorities in their fields. The faculty challenges the students to consider the media world from new perspectives and the students benefit from the faculty's vast experience. Moreover, the faculty at CMAC promotes a culture that encourages open discussion, fosters superior communication, and creates new possibilities. They ignite in students the quest for innovation, commitment to education and devotion to excellence. Faculty is drawn from reputed media colleges, media houses, print and electronic doyens and eminent persons serving the field. The students are taken to industry visits where they get to know the original workings in the real world so that they can correlate their theory with the practical sightings.

Kakul Rizvi (Dean)
Kakul Rizvi has worked as a Producer, Director, and Scriptwriter for the past 12 years. She has worked under leading production houses like BAG Films, Aim TV, Perspective Films, Dev & Dev Films, and World Report. She has actively produced many programs for Zee TV, Star TV, and DD National. She also had been an on-line producer for CNBC. Some of her famous works include:

  • Fashion magazine: Khubsoorat (Zee TV).

Chhavi Mathur (Senior Lecturer)
After college, Chhavi put her intellect to work in the Surat bureau office of The Indian Express, where besides reporting she was associated with the feature section, The Surat Newsline. She has spent dexterous time with a television production house, Collage Tele-images, working on subversive activities including managing a twelve-episode weekly program 'Animal Ark' hosted by Maneka Gandhi. She then moved to Gujarat Samachar Television, Ahmedabad as a reporter. During the tenure, she even did a lot of field reporting, news scripting and editing. With the faith that radio is an incredible industry, she has assisted several daily episodes for Yuva Wani, Ahmedabad. She has participated in the various research projects like: Study of beliefs and customs of Jhabua District Tribes during Solar Eclipse (conducted by Developmental Education and Communication Unit, Indian Space Research Organization (DECU-ISRO), Ahemdabad; Study of Wild Bear Sanctuary at Dediapada, Bharuch district, Gujarat. Before joining Rai Foundation Chhavi was working with the Department of Mass Communication, South Gujarat University, and Surat as a lecturer.

Idris Ahmed (Senior Lecturer)
From hobby to a professional Idris turned his inborn talent into professional photography. Starting as hospitality professional, Idris went on to join DAV Public School as photography faculty for 4 years. Passion of photography took him to the far-flung areas of the country from where he freelanced for various reputed National and International organizations and magazines like Wild Life Trust of India, International Funds for Animal Welfare, Dorling Kindersley, Harmony, Cosmopolitan, Asian Photography, Mizoh, a Japanese Bank etc. He came back to teaching in 2003 and started sharing his experiences of shooting different genres as faculty at College of Media & Communication-Rai Foundation. He had a very successful exhibition at Lalit Kala Academy to his credit, where he highlighted his work. His photographic skills are admired both in India and in abroad. Travel and photography drives Idris and that drive is evident in his current projects: 'Young Migrants' and 'High Altitude Lakes'. From Leh to down south, different colors of India that he captures are a visual delight.

Sarbjit Panghal (Consultant Lecturer)
Sarbjit is a postgraduate in Mass Communication & Journalism with a B.Ed degree. She carries a rich and varied experience in teaching and training students. She is deeply involved in authoring of numerous articles based on social and education issues for national seminars and conferences in India. She is consulted for various Communications based tasks by outside organizations, which include NGO's, and other educational institutions. She was associated with leading public schools, in particular, education institutions being run by M/S Jindal Group of Companies. She has more than eleven years of teaching experience. Her expertise lies in areas of Journalism stream, like Development of Contemporary Media, Gender Ethics, Media Laws, Communication Skills, Life-Skills, and other Mass Communication subjects, which would help students in making a mark in the industries in particular the investigative reporting, which is not being promoted in India and is a need in the country. Besides this, she has expertise in teaching Indian Ethos & Values to Management students. She diligently works towards preparing excellent workforce for the global competitive world.

Mahipal Kundu (VT Editor)
Mahipal Kundu has been working as an Assistant Director in Delhi, working on Corporate Films. He has edited a couple of Corporate Films and some Punjabi video's also. He even worked as an editor for Doordarshan's Daily Soaps, Ehsaas, and Agnipath. His area of expertise is in Editing Montage, Short Films, Documentaries, Music Videos, News Bulletins, and Advertisements. He even has created a couple of Websites and Web Portals.

Rajesh K. Singh (Lecturer)
He has several years of teaching experience in computers and related subjects. He is a double graduate in Science and Mathematics and holds Advance Diploma in Multimedia and Designing. He even completed an Advance & PG Diploma in Software Application from C-DAC. He won the best-designer award at state-level and worked as senior faculty and head of ZAP Development Center (Ranchi). Later, he joined CCIT, Delhi as a faculty and taught various computer related subjects including C, C++, Database Management, Internet Programming, Computer Architecture & Organization, and Multimedia to MCA & BCA students of IGNOU. He was also a guest faculty for computer sciences at leading institutes. While working with OASIS Educational Studies as Educational Head, he brought many infrastructure changes.
