Jeevika ' 04 a
documentary film festival organized by the Center for
Civil Society on livelihood issues saw "Zarina"
a film by Piyush Pushpak, Suhail Bukhari , Mukesh Kumar
and Sandeep Singh( CMAC 2002-2005 Batch) bag two awards
: The Best students Film and the Best Audience voted
film. The Students were jubilant to receive the awards
from Deepti Naval at a glittering awards ceremony
organized at the India Habitat Center. This has set the
precedent for the juniors at CMAC to actively compete at
films festival.
"Candles in the wind" a film by Akshay
Sharma, Deepankar Govil, Nitin Chaudhary, Ravi Garg,
Aditya Aggarwal & Kumar Yugant was also sent as an
entry for Jeevika Film Festival.
"Sangharsh- for second life" a film by
Rajiv Ratan Singh, Rahul Trehan, Ravi Mishra &
Sudhnashu Shekhar is being sent as an entry for jeevika
film Fest 2007, Big Idea 2007 & cinemac 2007. Film
addresses the livelihood issues of HIV positive people.
"Khsitij- Horizon of Development" a
film by Pratyush Kumar & Lalit Kumar also sent as an
entry for Jeevika film fest 2007. Film addresses the
livelihood issues of farmers loosing their ancestral
land for Special Economic Zones
Entries for Advertising Awards CMAC students were the
first ever team of Indian students to send in entries to
the " THE ONE SHOW" an all time favorite of
the advertising fraternity and The Bible of modern
Advertising awards. The student's entries were also
accepted at the Communication Arts Guild.
Harsha Ki Khoj - ESPN's hunt for an anchor Rohit
Ghosh, a student of 2003 PG batch of journalism competed
with more than 40,000 contestants for the Harsha Ki Khoj
- Dream job contest organized by ESPN the leading sports
channel. It was a proud moment for CMAC when Rohit was
sent to Bangladesh fro a month long training after he
had made it to the final twelve.

display their work and to take part in the 'STUDENT OF
THE YEAR' award.
CMAC students have participated actively in college
festivals not only in Delhi but also outside Delhi
At the International Broadcasting Quiz organized by
Public Service Broadcasting Trust and International
Public Television the CMAC team comprising of Suhail
Bukhari, Deepshikha Monga and Ravi Garg stood second.
The quiz held at LSR Delhi had teams from Jamia, IIMC
and LSR as the other final list.
AT the IMS NOIDA media fest, CMAC got the best
participating college CMAC students won award as well as
the first and second positions in the debate. AT the
quiz, also the CMAC team bagged the first prize.
