'College of Media &
Communication (CMAC) Colloquium' is a platform where CMAC
students meet media personalities from leading media houses. The
Media luminaries share their experiences and acquaint the
students with the challenges lying ahead in the industry. The
series provides CMAC students with glimpses of real processes,
problems and challenges of the media world. We believe that
during the studies students weave their dreams and 'CMAC
Colloquium' gives strands of reality to their dreams.
CMAC students share a common platform with media bigwigs from
leading media houses. CMAC students discuss, enquire, expand
their knowledge base, and become aware of the latest
developments in media world and otherwise.
'CMAC Colloquium' began on August 2, 2006 with the lecture of
Sashibhushan Pathak, Managing Editor 'Awami Dagar' followed by
Iqbal Rizvi, Senior Producer Programming IBN 7, Debangshu
Chaudhary, Promo Producer ESPN Star Sports, Sudha Sadanand, TV
Anchor and journalist; and many more to follow.
Kakul Rizvi, Dean CMAC said, "this open forum and
discussion on various issues hones our students for the best
placements in the leading organizations. We continuously keep
