Shantanu Chatterjee- Producer news - Headlines Today
Shantanu delivered a lecture on sports journalism. He spoke about the difference between coverage of sports for a news channels and a 24-hour sports channel. Shantanu, who had spent a few years in print before entering television, had a very long association with TWI. He is currently associated with Headlines Today. Shantanu has 17 years of sports journalism behind him.

He shared his experiences with students and elaborated how to plan a live coverage. He explained about the camera positions, special techniques and equipment used not only for getting specialized shots but also all the graphics and analysis during a match.

Rajiv Ratan and Sudhanshu Shekhar, PGP students of CMAC, screened their story on Goal keeping rule changes in hockey for Shantanu. They got a great feedback. He said, "the graphics need some improvement but for students to have picked up this topic and manage to get interviews and these kings of shots is very good." This learning experience improved the perspective of CMAC students as regards electronic journalism.
